General notice on the use of artificial intelligence pursuant to Art. 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (AI Act)

On this website, as well as on other websites, blogs, online services and social media channels operated by us, content may be published in the creation, editing, translation, summarisation or other processing of which artificial intelligence (AI) systems were used. This concerns in particular texts as well as image, audio and video content.

We use AI systems both to support editorial, creative and organisational processes and for the technical and linguistic revision of content. The use of AI may be limited to individual components of a piece of content or may concern the creation of substantial parts of a piece of content. Irrespective of this, responsibility for the published content remains with the respective responsible natural or legal persons.

Where statutory transparency or labelling obligations apply to certain content, in particular under Art. 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (AI Act), the necessary notices are provided in an appropriate manner with the respective content or at another suitable location. This applies in particular to artificially generated or manipulated image, audio or video content (so-called deepfakes) as well as to texts that have been generated or edited using AI and are published for the purpose of informing the public on matters of public interest.

Artistic, creative, satirical, fictional or comparable content may also have been created or edited, in whole or in part, using AI. In such cases, the disclosure of the use of AI is made in a manner that does not unduly impair the perception, presentation or enjoyment of the respective work or content.

We further point out that content published on this website, as well as on other websites and social media channels operated by us, may be checked, in whole or in part, using AI systems for spelling, grammar, readability, comprehensibility, style and linguistic quality and, where appropriate, linguistically revised. Such supporting services serve to improve the linguistic presentation and comprehensibility and do not necessarily lead to a change in the substance of the respective statements.

This notice serves to provide general transparency regarding the use of AI systems. Legally required labelling or disclosures for individual content remain unaffected by this.
